The groups turnover of £37M directly impacts on local communities and the local economy and it is essential that this local resource continues to operate in order to serve the community, not only in terms of the products and services offered, but also in terms of local employment and economic growth. The group also sources its constituent materials from local suppliers where these cannot be sourced in-house, and has a supply chain network that again draws from the local community. The group is now seeking to achieve certification against BS EN ISO 14001 and BES 6001 (Environment and Responsible Sourcing), thus improving its credentials and impact in terms of the environment.
