Apparently an element of danger is what playtime is all about for today’s children, and the thrill of climbing up a natural stone is much more exciting than the average climbing frame.
JWQ has supplied three enormous natural Yorkstone boulders weighing between 9 and 11 tonnes to Earthworks Consultants Ltd to add to their creation of an exciting new playground in Carr Lodge Park, Horbury for Wakefield MBC.
Each of the stones has been utilised as a natural climbing feature. Judging by the picture, the local children are impressed!
