Throughout the 1980's and 90's the increased use of natural stone paving to enhance many town and city centre landscaping and pedestrianisation projects has inevitably led to the increased awareness of the product and resulted in the need for concise specification information relating to the materials correct selection, design and installation.
We can give advice on the specification and design of York stone paving, identifying the latest British / European standards and relevant criteria for testing, which should be considered to ensure the correct selection of this most versatile natural material.
Particles of cast iron shot are dragged by corrugated blades through the block stone producing a combed effect finish. An added bonus to visual appeal is an exceptional skid resistance value of 96.
